Villa Neighborhood Luminaries
The Fairfax Villa Neighborhood Association is once again sponsoring and organizing placement of luminaries throughout the neighborhood on New Year's Eve (Now NEW YEAR DAY due to rain!) . A great deal of time and effort goes into this event, but we feel it is well worth to spread cheer and ring-in the new year as a neighborhood. There will be a free dumpster at the Fairfax Villa Elementary School on Saturday, April 27, from 9am to 12pm. Bring your bulk trash items to the school parking lot and let the county dispose of them for free- furniture, tires, large appliances, and other bulk items. The neighborhood association, and our neighbors who live on Salina Court are organizing an all-neighborhood Spring Block Party! There will be an Easter egg hunt and several grills will be available for cooking food. Fairfax Villa Neighborhood Association and our local Cub Scout pack (1513) are teaming up once again for our annual park cleanup. On Sunday, June 30, we invite you to meet at the Belden Street park entrance at 10:30 AM. We will break into groups and collect as much debris as possible.
